What does “Siempre” mean?

Siempre is a Spanish word that means always. It reflects a commitment to craftsmanship that endures and to impact that extends beyond the purchase. It also reflects a belt designed to be worn often, year after year.

Where are the belts made?

Each belt begins with hand-loomed beadwork created by women artisans in rural Guatemala. The beaded panels are then integrated into full-grain bridle leather in Texas by a seasoned leather craftsman with decades of experience.

I’m concerned the beads might be too fragile. Will they break or become loose?

The beads are not surface-applied. They are woven into the structure using durable thread that interlocks each bead into a unified panel.
Due to the nature of the weaving process, it is nearly impossible for a bead to become loose or dislodged.
With normal wear and care, the beadwork is designed to maintain its integrity for years.

The leather is selected to deepen in tone and character over time.

How do I choose the right size?

There are two easy ways to determine your belt size.
1. Measure a belt you already own. Lay it flat and measure from where the leather meets the buckle to the hole you use most often. That measurement in inches is your belt size.
2. Choose a belt size that is two inches larger than your pant size. If you wear a 34 pant, choose a 36 belt.
If the size is not right, we offer a one-time exchange. We will work with you personally to make it right.

What if my size is not available?

Siempre Belts are handmade in small batches.
If your size is unavailable, it will be included in the next production run. Production may take 8–12 weeks due to the time required for hand-loomed beadwork and leather finishing.
Size 40 is fulfilled in the next production run and may require 8–12 weeks.

What is your return policy?

Unworn belts may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund.
Belts must be returned in original condition and in all original packaging. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Do you offer exchanges?

Yes.
If the size is not right, we offer a one-time exchange.
Belts must be returned in original condition and in all original packaging. Due to small batch production, exchanges may be fulfilled from the next available run.

We ship within the contiguous United States. Shipping is free.

What does 100% reinvested mean?

One hundred percent of profits are reinvested into artisan communities in Guatemala. This includes educational scholarships for children, water filtration systems, food provisions during seasonal hardship, and tools that allow women artisans to continue their craft.
